“The Hands Resist Him” is an infamously haunted painting also known as “The Haunted eBay Painting.”
Rumor has it a Californian couple found the painting in an old brewery. They listed the painting on eBay claiming that characters in the painting sometimes moved or escaped the boundaries of the painting itself. The painting eventually sold for $1,025 because apparently people like to decorate with haunted stuff.
Back to reality, the artist Bill Stoneham painted “The Hands Resist Him.” He describes how the imagery is not so much haunted, but dark symbolism about life, childhood, and memories.

Rumored to be one of the most haunted places in the US, there has been a gross amount of hauntings, paranormal activities, ghostly apparitions, and strange phenomenon.
