Who Are You People?
Before you go on a first date, do you throw random gift after random gift at them hoping they may like one of the presents you toss their way?
No, you get to know the person first to see what they value and what they like. Then you thoughtfully purchase or create something with them in mind. Then give them that gift after you know each other better.
The same goes for your audience. To have your audience share your content, get to know who they are first.
After that, create a strong, loyal, lasting relationship with them. Being a causal acquaintance with your audience simply won’t cut it these days.
Knowing and understanding your audience is so important because it brings results faster. You are able to solve their problems better by creating a more effective value proposition.

Audiences share your content based on the strength of your relationship. When it comes to companies, building relationships with thought leaders and influencers in your industry provides the best leverage. Building strong relationships are the art. Strategically knowing who to build a relationship with and how to leverage that to promote your content is the science.
Audiences share your content because it resonates with them and relates to their lives. Before, products were created to target X demographic. Now, companies get to know communities first.
